AV Tester – License terms

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms apply when you download, try or buy AV Tester. By installing or using the app you accept them.

Who we are. AV Tester is made by Audio Video Solutions i Stockholm AB, org. no. 559358-4476, Stockholm, Sweden ("we"). Contact: info@avs.nu.

1. Free trial

You can use every feature free for 14 days on each computer. After that, the app asks for a license key. The trial does not renew, and reinstalling the app does not restart it.

2. What you get when you buy

3. Moving to a new computer

Open the license window and click Remove license from this computer, then activate the key on the new computer. If the old computer is broken or gone, email info@avs.nu and we will free the key for you.

4. Online check

The app checks the key with our license server when you activate it and about once a day after that. It keeps working offline for up to 30 days between checks. After 30 days without a connection it asks you to go online once.

5. What you may not do

If a key is misused we may deactivate it.

6. Payment and VAT

Payment is handled by Stripe, which acts as the seller of record for the purchase and takes care of payment, VAT and your receipt. The price shown at checkout includes VAT.

7. Refunds

If AV Tester isn't right for you, email info@avs.nu within 14 days of buying and you will get your money back. No questions asked. The key stops working once it is refunded. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer law.

8. Beta versions

Versions marked BETA are still being tested. They may have bugs or change. Please use Report a problem in the app to tell us.

9. No guarantees

AV Tester helps you check AV equipment, but it does not replace a professional judgement. The app is provided "as is". We do our best to make it accurate and reliable, but we cannot promise it is free of errors or suits every purpose.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost data or downtime. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applied when you bought your license continues to apply to that purchase.

12. Law

Swedish law applies. Disputes go to a Swedish court. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live, and you can turn to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), arn.se.
